What is Safe from Harm (SfH) and where does it come from?

Safe from Harm is a set of actions designed to make sure that every person involved in Scouting is responsible for and committed to protecting children and young people, inside and outside the Movement, so everyone can feel safe at all times. The initiative was developed on the basis of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. We recognise the fundamental obligation of a youth organisation to protect and promote the best interests of children and young people.
