Why do I have to share my date of birth when I register?

When registering as an individual, we require your date of birth to verify whether you are able to join JOTA-JOTI without adult supervision. If you are below the age of 13, you need a parent or guardian to register on your behalf who agrees to supervise your participation throughout the event.
