Challenge Valley - How does it work?

In the Challenge Valley, JOTA-JOTI 2022 participants are given the opportunity to participate in activities and challenges, which upon completion, they are given a code. You will need to complete 5 activities per challenge in order to claim the Challenge Badge for that Challenge.

In the Challenge Valley, participants will find a button on the bottom of the pop-up that will take them to the Challenge Claim page (https://www.jotajoti.info/challenge-claim).

Once a participant enters the Challenge Claim page, he/she will see a list of Challenges. For each Challenge, there are 5 activities he/she will need to complete in order to redeem a badge. There are quite a number of activities for each of the challenge, so in order to know what are the activities for each of the Challenge, he/she will need to click on the Challenge badge.

He/she will then be taken to a page with a full list of activities he/she can participate in to earn codes they can use to redeem a Challenge badge.

Once he/she has participated in the activity and have received a Code, they must go back to the Challenge Claim page to enter the code. Enter the code in the text field below and click on the Submit button. For each completed activity under a Challenge, the grey circle changes colour. They must complete all 5 to redeem a Challenge badge.

He/she can repeat this as many times as as needed to gain a badge.

Pro Tip: A logged in user can quickly access the Challenge Claim page, by clicking on the My Challenge Valley menu item as shown below.
