What is Safe from Harm (SfH), and where does it come from?

Safe from Harm is a set of principles and actions designed to ensure that everyone involved in Scouting is committed to creating a safe environment — both inside and outside the Movement.It aims to make sure that children and young people are protected, supported, and able to participate in Scouting free from harm, abuse, or discrimination.The initiative is based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and reflects our commitment to protecting and promoting the best interests of every young person.Safe from Harm is not just a policy — it’s a shared responsibility across the global Scouting community.
