The first character in your JID represents the WOSM region you belong to.Here are the current region codes used in JIDs:AfricanArabAsia-PacificNot in use (previously Eurasian)EuropeanInteramericanIf you’re a member of a WAGGGS Member Organisation, you’ve been assigned the corresponding WOSM region code for your country.JIDs with region code 7 are no longer being issued. Global participants should use the regional code for their location instead.
