What is JOTA-JOTI?

JOTA-JOTI (Jamboree on the Air – Jamboree on the Internet) is the world’s largest digital Scout event, bringing together more than two million young people from over 170 countries every year.

It takes place on the third weekend of October and is open to Scouts and Guides of all ages. Over the course of the weekend, participants connect with others around the world through radio waves and the internet, taking part in exciting activities that promote friendship, global citizenship, and skills for life.

JOTA-JOTI is all about communication, cooperation, and discovery — whether you’re talking over amateur radio, chatting online, or joining one of the many live workshops, games, or cultural exchanges.

Participation is free, and no special experience is needed — just curiosity, a willingness to connect, and a Scout spirit!
